About US

Why we created this platform?

EnlightenAbility is a platform created by us, one a student with a Specific Learning Disability, and the other, a student who has observed the challenges faced by her close friend. We will be sharing our experiences, challenges, and tips on coping with school and everyday obstacles. We hope to share our knowledge and experience with other students who might face similar challenges to further aid them in daily life. As this topic is sensitive and personal to not only us, but students we want to connect with, our aim is to create a safe space for students to address and overcome these obstacles as well as share their own experiences and challenges.

What do we do?

At EnlightenAbility, we focus on real impact through collaboration and hands-on support.

Here’s how we do it:

Work with NGOs and private, public, and government schools to support early learners with SLDs.
Run interactive sessions for students, teachers, and parents (Grades 1–3).
Share personal stories and simple academic strategies that actually help.
Conduct summer programs for children in Grades 1–3, focusing on confidence-building and learning support.
Create and distribute age-appropriate resources for reading, writing, and comprehension challenges.
Build a safe, relatable community for young learners to feel seen, supported, and included.
